Product Manager: Cables, Batteries & Computing Accessories

Do you want to actively shape a wide assortment and exert real entrepreneurial influence? In this role, you will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of over 8'000 items and develop it further along market trends, customer needs, and economic key figures. In doing so, you will work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, purchasing, marketing, and sales. Additionally, you will help shape the private label strategy in the ICT Volume area together with our private label team.

What awaits you

• Entrepreneurial responsibility for your assortments, including turnover, margin, contribution margin, budget, and pricing strategy across our B2B and B2C channels
• Strategic further development of a wide portfolio with over 8'000 items as well as identification of new market and assortment potentials
• Co-responsibility for the private label strategy in the ICT Volume area in close cooperation with our private label team
• Evaluation of new manufacturers, suppliers, and competitive sourcing options
• Independent support and negotiation with manufacturer and supplier partners as well as implementation of the procurement strategy together with purchasing
• Development and implementation of assortment, pricing, and procurement strategies
• Conception of marketing measures together with Category Marketing and sales
• Analysis of relevant key figures, creation of reporting, and derivation of concrete optimization measures
• Responsibility for manufacturer settlements as well as compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in your assortment areas
• Participation and responsibility in strategic projects such as dropshipping, data connections, or purchasing tools

What you bring with you

• Completed basic training with EFZ or an equivalent qualification, ideally with a connection to trade or e-commerce
• Further training in the area of marketing, product management, purchasing, or business administration
• At least 3–5 years of professional experience in product management or category management, preferably in the e-commerce and/or distribution environment
• Very good analytical skills and enjoyment of working with key figures and deriving concrete recommendations for action from them
• Very good Excel skills as well as confident handling of MS Office
• Experience in cooperation and negotiation with manufacturers and suppliers
• Practice in handling ERP systems and master data as well as understanding of data-driven assortment control
• Knowledge in cross-channel pricing and marketing
• Very good German and good English skills
• Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, as well as a structured and independent way of working
