Course Instructor for Adult Language Courses and JUMA

Our numerous offers support people with a migration background in integration and on the path to economic and social independence.

The field of Education and Participation includes language, educational, and integration programs for migrants of all ages and educational levels. Each semester, 500 to 600 participants attend our various course offerings in the field of Education & Participation.

For the language courses for adults as well as for the JUMA courses (adolescents and young adults), we are looking for motivated course instructors/teachers as of immediately or by arrangement:

Your main tasks

• Language courses for adults (German lessons, work workshop, social information) or instruction within the framework of the Juma program (mathematics, German, Swiss German general education)
• Conducting progress meetings, evaluations, and their documentation
• Cooperation in specialist working groups upon agreement
• Implementation of the fide framework curriculum

Your profile

• Language courses for adults: Language course instructor in the integration sector, at least SVEB 1 or similar training, such as a DaZ certificate
• Juma program: Teaching diploma for primary or secondary level, Bachelor in Linguistic Integration or at least SVEB 1, DaZ is an advantage
• Experience in language instruction for migrants
• Understanding of intercultural cooperation
• High level of independence as well as ability to integrate
• Resilience in dealing with complexity, coping with social pressure
