Delivery person for letters and parcels 60-100% (m/f/d)

Job description

• In the early morning (approx. time) you load the delivery vehicles together with your team and prepare your delivery tour.
• Sorting of parcels and deliveries to the districts
• Compliance with safety regulations as specified
• Through your work, you shape the streetscape of the Bern region and embody the values of reliability and quality
• On your tour, you answer questions from our customers and contribute to customer satisfaction
• Workload 60-100% from Monday - Friday
• You work regularly on Saturdays, whereby the shifts are divided within the team

Desired profile

• Physically fit (lifting parcels up to 30 kg possible)
• Experience in sorting or in the warehouse is an advantage
• You enjoy being on the move, possess driving license category B and A1 (motorcycle up to 125cm) - or are willing to obtain this before starting the position
• If you only have a learner's driving license for Cat. A1, no problem - you are still very welcome! The only important thing is that you successfully complete the courses during the probationary period.
• You appreciate working in a team but also enjoy being on the move independently and feel comfortable with large vehicles in road traffic
• Good oral German skills at at least level B2 as well as proficient handling of digital devices round off your profile
