In-Circuit Test (ICT) Test Engineer

Your tasks:

As an engineer specialized in In-Circuit Test (ICT), you are part of our experienced test engineering team. You develop, program and supervise test solutions for electronic assemblies, thereby ensuring reliable and efficient control in our production.

• Programming, commissioning and optimization of In-Circuit Test (ICT) systems
• Creation and development of ICT test programs for electronic assemblies
• Analysis of electrical diagrams, bills of materials, CAD/layout data and other product data for the creation of test programs
• Development, supervision and maintenance of test hardware and associated test adapters
• Analysis and optimization of test coverage, test times and defect detection
• Performing debugging and defect analysis on electronic assemblies
• Validation and approval of new or modified test systems as well as their transfer to production
• Technical support to production in case of test problems and failures
• Continuous improvement of existing test systems and test processes
• Collaboration with development, production, quality, customers as well as external partners

Your qualifications:

• Completed technical training or continuing education in the field of electrical engineering, electronics, automation or a comparable field
• Experience in programming and supervising In-Circuit Test (ICT) systems strongly desired
• Good knowledge of electronics, circuit technology and measurement techniques
• Ability to systematically read, understand and analyze electronic diagrams
• Experience in fault finding and analysis of electronic assemblies
• Knowledge in programming or creating automated test sequences
• Experience in an industrial production environment is an asset
• Good skills in the use of Windows-based systems
• Good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
• Autonomous, structured and solution-oriented way of working
