ICT Architect III (Senior ICT Systems Architect)

This is the contribution you can make • Analyze, design, and plan complex IT solutions of platforms and peripheral systems (sensors, weapon systems) while considering security, network, and operational requirements • Define the necessary security and network components for the integration of specialist systems, peripheral systems, and platform services into classified environments and model and document information flows, data objects, and functional as well as technical interfaces • Develop, maintain, and further develop the architecture, integration, and security documentation over the entire lifecycle of the platform and assume overall architectural responsibility for integrated systems • Technical coordination and control of network, security, platform, and peripheral system teams for the timely implementation of end-to-end integrations as well as ensuring clear responsibilities • Conduct technical reviews and ensure quality assurance of architecture and implementation work across all involved teams • Analyze communication flows and protocols and ensure the technical integration capability of applications and platform services This makes you unique • University or university of applied sciences degree in computer science or telecommunications as well as experience and competencies in the area of security, data protection, compliance, and governance requirements • Good network knowledge in the area of Virtual Private Networks, firewalling, and IPSec technologies • Several years of experience in the architecture and integration of complex ICT systems with sound knowledge of APIs, messaging, event-driven, and information architectures as well as sound understanding of information flows, data models, and data objects in complex multi-vendor environments • In-depth understanding of modern security concepts such as Zero Trust, Defense-in-Depth, as well as cross-domain and zone concepts • Ability to consolidate technical requirements of different stakeholders within agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) and to provide technical leadership to interdisciplinary teams and align them towards common target images • Good knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language This is what we offer • Working for Switzerland We are committed to the success model of Switzerland and work for the well-being of the population. • Lived diversity Thanks to equal opportunities, we develop our competencies and bring in different perspectives. • Healthy at the workplace We support and advise our employees in the area of physical and mental health.
