Agricultural Sector Manager ##

In this central function within the farm, you will work in close collaboration with Flavien Cordey and act as his operational relay on the ground. You will participate in the daily organization of agricultural activities, coordinate work and teams, and actively contribute to the monitoring and development of crops.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Team and work management

• Organize and coordinate agricultural work, services for third parties, and mechanization needs
• Ensure operational monitoring of teams and intervene in managing daily issues
• Ensure efficient use of resources and the smooth running of work

Crop management

• Ensure the monitoring of data and activities by plot
• Participate in cultural planning and land management
• Organize different tasks: phytosanitary treatments, fertilization, mechanization, and harvests
• Manage plant orders and anticipate climatic risks
• Participate in the research and development of new crops

Monitoring and coordination

• Participate in the preparation of Bio and SwissGAP controls and ensure the monitoring of agricultural files
• Coordinate and transmit cultural data to the various partners and organizations concerned
• Participate in technical exchanges with producers and industry players

Mechanized work

• Actively participate in the mechanized work of the farm: land preparation, mulching, and other agricultural work
• Perform work for third parties and participate in snow removal
• Carry out other mechanical work necessary for the proper functioning of the farm

YOUR PROFILE

• Training in the agricultural field or professional experience deemed equivalent
• Proven experience in the agricultural sector, ideally with organizational or coordination responsibilities
• Very good knowledge of crops and agricultural work
• Excellent comfort with agricultural machines
• Ability to organize, coordinate, and support a team in the field
• Comfortable with IT tools and data monitoring
• Good ability to anticipate and make decisions
• Autonomous, versatile, pragmatic, and solution-oriented personality
• Flexibility and availability according to agricultural activity periods
