Team Leader HR (m/f/d | 80-100%) ================================== Der Walter Zoo in Gossau SG is a scientifically managed zoo that cares for 1‘000 animals from around 100 different species. It inspires over 275‘000 visitors annually for the animal world and awakens interest and understanding for their needs and the protection of their habitats. The zoo is engaged in various species protection projects and manages two care stations for native wild animals itself. Your tasks • Leadership and coordination of the HR team as well as ensuring smooth HR day-to-day business • Responsibility for the HR processes along the entire Employee Life Cycle • Responsibility for the monthly payroll processing for monthly and hourly workers • Processing and coordination of social insurances as well as accident and daily sickness benefit cases • Responsibility for withholding tax, time management, and absence management • Advising and supporting our managers on personnel-related and labor law issues • Ensuring compliance with labor law requirements and internal regulations • Leading and participating in HR projects • Participating in conceptual and strategic HR topics in cooperation with the management • Further development, optimization, and digitalization of our HR processes and instruments • Participation in the further development of regulations, guidelines, and HR fundamentals • Responsibility for the HR budget as well as participation in company insurance matters • Support and training of our commercial apprentices What you bring • Commercial basic training with sound further training in the field of Human Resources, ideally with an HR Federal Diploma • Several years of practical professional experience as an HR Generalist or in a comparable operative HR function • Very good ABACUS knowledge • Very good knowledge and practical experience in payroll processing • Sound knowledge of Swiss social insurances and labor law • Further training as a Payroll Expert or a comparable qualification is desirable • High affinity for digitalization and the further development of HR processes • Proficient German in spoken and written form • Independent, structured, and exact way of working • High sense of responsibility, discretion, and service orientation • Pronounced hands-on mentality and pleasure in also working operatively yourself • Motivation to take on leadership responsibility and to develop yourself in this role What we offer you • An extraordinary place of work in the zoo • Versatile and exciting field of activity in the HR area • A dedicated and collegial team • Flexible working hours Do you feel addressed?
