Project Manager with management tasks 80 %

In cooperation with local actors, municipal authorities, as well as project and financing partners, you will implement impactful and sustainable projects and ensure the management of the supporting association of the regional development project (PRE) Safiental.

What you can achieve:

• Project initiation and development: Initiating and developing projects that contribute to the sustainable development of Safiental. Drafting financing applications and acquiring third-party funds.
• Project management and implementation: Leading and implementing impactful and sustainable projects in cooperation with the two clients, project and financing partners, and authorities.
• Consulting and support: Project-related consulting for the involved actors, participation in relevant individual initiatives, and support for local organizations, for example, in the implementation of events.
• Networking and communication: Point of contact for project ideas from the region, networking of actors, and participation in working groups. Regular exchange and communication with the municipality of Safiental, the location promotion commission, and the board of the PRE Safiental association.
• Association coordination and management: Ensuring association coordination, administration, and management of the PRE Safiental association in coordination with the office of Naturpark Beverin.
• Project monitoring and controlling: Coordination and accompaniment of the implementation of the PRE sub-projects, monitoring of project progress, controlling, and reporting.
• Public relations: Organization of media events, writing and editing media releases, as well as general public relations.

What you bring with you:

• Completed university or technical college education (agronomy, environmental sciences, or similar)
• Knowledge of the agricultural and food industry as well as experience with PRE projects
• Experience in project management and business administration
• Open-minded, proactive personality with good conceptual and organizational skills
• Joy in developing interdisciplinary projects together with different partners
• Implementation-oriented and pragmatic way of working, reliability, and teamwork skills
• Connection to Safiental and a network in the region is an advantage
