What you can contribute

• Coordination of quality, environment, and safety (QES) issues of the Center as a point of contact and central hub for activities in these areas, as well as networking the different processes
• Advising and supporting the Center management in the management system: verification of legal compliance, conducting hazard analyses and risk assessments, as well as proposing and implementing corresponding measures
• Taking on central roles regarding safety (occupational safety, radiation protection, dangerous goods, responsible for toxics, information security, and protection of objects), including the maintenance of corresponding concepts and the implementation of the emergency organization
• Guaranteeing issues related to the premises and the environment as a RU-Supporter of the Center in accordance with the DDPS real estate concept, as well as integrating environmental aspects into processes and business
• Responsibility for the quality and process management area: audits and internal and external controls, management of ideas and complaints, investigations, project portfolio and controlling, TQM and Business Excellence
• Training and awareness of employees on QES themes in German (min. B2) and Italian, including the coordination of external training, the implementation of internal training at the Center, as well as the planning of priority programs and campaigns

What makes you unique

• Initial technical or artisanal vocational training, preferably completed by continuing education in the commercial or business administration field, or higher vocational training, with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience for the function
• A completed training as an STPS safety assistant (Sicherheitsassistent/in ASGS), certified by a Suva certificate or an attestation issued as part of a training supported by the CFST, or equivalent training, is an asset
• Specialized training or knowledge in the fields of quality, process, and project management, audits and controls, environmental management, occupational safety, dangerous goods, integral safety, and Business Excellence constitute an asset
• Generalist profile with professional experience and good knowledge in the assigned field of activity, with a sense of what is essential and a result- and solution-oriented way of working
• Autonomous and responsible personality, with reflection and action guided by a global vision of the organization, a keen sense of service, an ability to work in a team, and excellent team spirit
• Communicative personality, comfortable with digital technologies as well as with the processing of data and information
