An established, owner-managed planning and construction management office in the Zürcher Unterland is looking for reinforcement to accompany construction projects throughout the entire project process. The office serves private clients, cooperatives, commercial enterprises, and public clients and carries out projects from requirements clarification through design, plan processing and cost estimation, tendering and awarding to on-site construction management, construction accounting, and warranty processing.

The portfolio includes replacement new buildings and new buildings of multi-family houses and single-family houses, renovations and extensions, school and public buildings, as well as commercial and industrial objects. The locations of deployment are primarily in the region of Kloten, Bülach, Wallisellen, Embrach, Bassersdorf, Dübendorf, Winterthur and in the wider Glattal.

Your tasks

• Independent accompaniment of structural engineering projects as Construction Manager and/or Project Manager across the relevant SIA phases
• Recording the needs of the client and participation in variants, preliminary design, and project planning
• Plan processing, coordination of specialist planners, and quality assurance of the execution documents
• Creation and updating of cost estimates, cost control, and reporting
• Tendering, comparison of offers, award requests, and contract processing
• On-site construction management: schedule, cost, and quality control, meeting management, defect and supplemental management
• Measurement, invoice control, construction accounting, and management of warranty work
• Direct contact person for clients, contractors, authorities, and the planning team

Your profile

• Completed training as Construction Manager, Site Manager, Technician TS/HF Structural Engineering, Architect FH/ETH or comparable, ideally with an apprenticeship as Drafter Architecture
• Several years of professional experience in Switzerland in construction management and/or project management structural engineering, preferably residential construction, renovation and/or public buildings
• Secure knowledge of the SIA phases, common standards, and coordinative interfaces on the construction site
• Independent, practical, and assertive way of working with a high presence on-site
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
• Driver's license category B and willingness for construction site deployments in the region
