In this key role, you will shape the strategic further development of our product portfolio and lead products from the idea to a successful market launch. You will work closely with strategic purchasing, sales, marketing, logistics, finance and quality assurance, as well as our international companies.

Your tasks

Product strategy and assortment

• Responsibility for the product management of the assigned household appliance categories over the entire product lifecycle
• Analysis of market trends, customer needs, competitor products, and sales data to identify new product opportunities
• Development and further development of assortment, roadmap, and product strategies, including recommendations for novelties, replacement products, improvements, and diversification
• Development of positioning, price recommendations, and central product arguments in cooperation with sales and marketing
• Derivation and implementation of measures for the continuous optimization of the product portfolio

Product development and market launch

• Management of product development and the operational implementation of approved product projects from the idea to the market launch in coordination with the Global Product Manager
• Planning and implementation of product launches in close cooperation with sales, marketing, and the international companies
• Definition and coordination of product requirements, tests, certifications, packaging, and operating instructions
• Cooperation with the Strategic Buyer & Controller in the evaluation of manufacturers, offers, cost structures, and delivery conditions for new projects
• Visiting trade fairs, manufacturers, and production sites to identify product and innovation trends

Product performance and internal support

• Analysis of sales figures, repair statistics, market feedback, and product performance, as well as derivation of concrete improvement measures
• Ensuring clear product documentation and a reliable flow of information for all relevant stakeholders
• Central contact person for product information as well as support for sales and marketing with product information, training, and presentations
• Close cooperation with quality assurance and customer service on quality and product issues

Your profile

• Completed commercial or technical basic training with further education or sound professional experience in product management
• Several years of experience in product management, ideally in an international consumer goods or household appliance environment
• Very good understanding of customer needs, market analyses, product strategies, and product launches
• Technical understanding as well as strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working with high implementation power
• Confident communication and assertiveness in an international environment
• Very good German and English skills; other languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally regularly
