What you can contribute

• Execute flight preparation work, intermediate checks and the restoration of fighter jets engaged in flight service
• Perform aircraft handover and takeover work with pilots
• Execute periodic maintenance tasks, repairs and configuration changes on aircraft
• Participate in training modules abroad
• Assume the function of technical instructor within the service troop

What makes you unique

• CFC as a polymechanic, mechatronic technician or similar training with some years of experience, ideally in aeronautics; strong interest in aviation and its new technologies
• Good skills in electrical and electronic fields
• Sense of responsibility, team spirit and ability to transmit technical instruction
• Good psychological and physical resilience, irreproachable reputation (position subject to security clearance)
• Willingness and ability to carry out engagements and training according to an irregular schedule including nights, weekends and public holidays as well as occasionally abroad
• Good oral knowledge of a second official language and English (level B1)

The Operations Command (cdmt Op) is responsible for all operations and all military engagements of the Swiss Army. The cdmt Op includes notably the Air Forces, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Center, the Special Forces Command as well as the Military Police.
