Business Analyst / Software Asset Management

Business Analyst (m/w/d) / Software Asset Management Within the framework of a transformation project in the Strategy, Risk & Analytics area, a Software Asset Management (SAM) with end-to-end processes across the entire software lifecycle is being newly conceived. The focus is on analyzing existing software-related processes and developing a target image including tooling, governance, and integration into the existing system landscape. Tasks: • Analysis of existing software-related processes across the entire lifecycle (demand, procurement, deployment, usage, maintenance, retirement) and identification of process gaps from a SAM perspective • Conception of an end-to-end Software Asset Management including roles, responsibilities, control points, and interfaces • Collection, coordination, and documentation of technical and functional requirements for a future SAM tool • Definition of MVP or minimal requirements and prioritization of functional and non-functional requirements • Conception of the integration of the SAM tool into the existing system landscape (e.g. ITSM, ERP/SAP Ariba) including interfaces and data flows • Creation of decision-making bases (e.g. business case, target image), technical concepts, and training materials • Accompaniment of tool selection and support in initial implementation steps and introduction Requirements: • Completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or Business Administration • Completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or Business Administration • Several years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Engineer in complex, agile environments (e.g. SAFe) • In-depth experience in Software Asset Management or License Management including end-to-end process understanding • Experience in the conception and further development of SAM or license management solutions • Knowledge of common SAM tools (e.g. ServiceNow SAM, Flexera, Snow, USU or similar) is an advantage • Experience in collaboration with stakeholders from IT, Purchasing, Finance, Security, Risk, and Management • Distinct analytical, conceptual, and pragmatic working method with a focus on benefits, risk, and costs Languages: • German: C1 • English: C1 Reference number: 925068MH Role: Business Analyst (m/w/d) Region: Zürich and region Utilization: 100% (hybrid only within Switzerland) Start: End date: If this position has sparked your interest, please send us your complete dossier via the link in this advertisement.
