Schulamt

The Teaching and Care department is looking for reinforcement for the newly created position, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks

• You keep the numbers on course: From budgeting and financial year-end closing to account assignment and accruals to rebookings – you manage the financial processes reliably and in compliance with legal requirements in cooperation with the dossier managers.
• You turn numbers into decision-making bases: You create reports and key figures, thereby shedding light on financial developments.
• You guide projects to their goal: Project and credit settlements are just as much your playground as the financial support of diverse projects.
• You are the pivot point: As a competent contact person, you answer questions, check invoices, and support internal as well as external partners.
• You think ahead: You question and optimize existing processes, simplify structures, and help develop digital tools and reportings – especially regarding the finances of the day schools.

Profile

• Number professional with know-how: Commercial basic training with further training in business administration (HF/FH level, specialization Finance/Controlling)
• Analytical mind: Sound knowledge in finance and controlling as well as experience in project management
• Excel professional with a penchant for structure: Outstanding Excel skills, reliable, efficient and precise way of working
• Organizational talent with team spirit: Very good organizational and coordinative skills, adequate communication at all levels and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
• Thinking personality with a will to shape: Initiative, independence, resilience and strong service orientation

About us

The Schulamt is a service department in the Schul- und Sportdepartement of the Stadt Zürich. The Teaching and Care department supports the school authorities and the Volksschule of the Stadt Zürich in school and teaching development, in integrative promotion, with cultural offerings, in the implementation and further development of the day school as well as in early promotion.
