(Exclusive) Head of Purchasing Parquet and Accessories

On behalf of our client, a successful and established company in the wood and parquet industry based in the Zurich East area (central location, parking spaces in front of the building), we are looking for an experienced (Exclusive) Head of Purchasing Parquet and Accessories # In this responsible role, you will assume overall responsibility for the purchasing and scheduling of parquet, accessories, and raw materials. You will maintain existing national and international supplier relationships, further develop the procurement market, and negotiate prices and conditions with the aim of sustainably ensuring the company's competitiveness. Your main tasks include the creation and monitoring of supply and framework agreements, the implementation of supplier audits, and ensuring FSC/PEFC requirements. You are responsible for the entire operational purchasing process from the request for quotation via the order to the invoice verification, monitor stock levels, and organize inventories. In addition, you process complaints, maintain the article master data, and support the management in all procurement matters. Thanks to your experience, you make an important contribution to the optimization of processes and the further development of the supplier network. To successfully master this exciting challenge, you have a commercial or technical basic training and can draw on several years of experience in purchasing. You bring sound knowledge of the wood or parquet industry and have a good understanding of procurement processes and supply chains. You are also characterized by a structured and precise way of working, strong organizational talent, and a high affinity for numbers. As a resilient, independent, and reliable personality, you convince through your sense of responsibility, your teamwork skills, and your ability to maintain an overview even in demanding situations.
