Specialist Quantity Planning

As a Specialist Quantity Planning, you will ensure a reliable planning basis and drive the further development of our planning instruments. With you, we strengthen our data-based control and planning.

What you can achieve

• You create and plausibilize planned quantities, taking into account historical quantities, forecasts, seasonalities, holidays, as well as site and process changes.
• Together with the operating units, you ensure coordinated planning assumptions and a uniform, reliable planning basis.
• You analyze deviations, risks, and impacts and prepare decision-making bases in a target-group-oriented manner.
• You capture functional requirements for forecasting, planning, and analysis instruments and coordinate them with the relevant stakeholders.
• You accompany tests, functional checks, acceptances, and improvements of applications in the context of quantity planning.
• In close exchange with operating sites, process management, controlling, and projects, you ensure that the needs of all participants are taken into account.
• You share methodological, data, and system knowledge within the team and support the further development of standards, processes, and decision logics.

What you bring with you

• A completed commercial, business administration, or technical education, as well as further training or practical experience in planning, controlling, data analysis, logistics/operations, or a comparable area, form the basis for this function.
• Ideally, you already have several years of experience in quantity, production, resource, or operational planning in a logistical environment.
• Analytical thinking, a high affinity for data, a strong understanding of numbers, and a careful way of working are among your strengths.
• You are proficient in using Excel as well as planning, analysis, and reporting instruments. Experience with forecasting, planning, or BI solutions is an advantage.
• Analyzing complex data and process relationships, questioning them critically, and deriving concrete recommendations for action from them motivates you.
• Exchanging with different stakeholder groups is easy for you and you convince through your communication strength as well as your reliable cooperation.
• You communicate very well orally and in writing in German. Any further national language is an advantage.
