The town of Illnau-Effretikon - located between Winterthur and Zurich - offers attractive conditions for its approximately 18,000 inhabitants with its rural and urban areas, hamlets, centres and the historic village of Kyburg.

Our sports centre team ensures the use of a well-functioning infrastructure in a well-maintained setting. In summer, guests and clubs have access to a spacious outdoor pool with a mini-golf course, beach volleyball court, street workout area, pump track, and in winter, two artificial ice rinks for sport, play and fun.

From 1 October 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a service-oriented personality as

YOUR TASKS IN THIS ROLE ARE:

• Responsible for smooth winter and summer operations
• Preparation and maintenance of the outdoor pool and the artificial ice rink
• Monitoring and maintenance of technical systems
• Cleaning of indoor and outdoor facilities as well as green areas
• Maintenance of the machinery fleet
• Maintaining contact with guests, supervision for safety and orderly operation
• Cashier duties during staff shortages

YOUR PROFILE FITS PERFECTLY IF YOU:

• have professional experience as a pool and ice rink manager or hold a vocational qualification in a craft/technical profession.
• already possess the igba diplomas BAKU/EIKU, the CPR course and a category B driving licence or have the willingness, potential and interest to develop into a pool and ice rink manager.
• convince not only with professional qualifications but also with an independent and reliable working style and high social competence to master demanding situations in interpersonal and technical areas.
• have a flair for dealing with guests and clubs and are willing to work shifts as well as evening and weekend shifts, and have time flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods or compensation during quieter phases.
