As a member of a motivated team of specialists, you ensure the quality of official surveying in the canton of Berne and pursue its development within the framework of captivating projects placed under your responsibility. In this context, you collaborate closely with municipalities, cadastral surveying offices, as well as Confederation services. You are also in contact with other official bodies as well as with the private economy sector and you influence the terms of cooperation within this network.

Your tasks

• Periodic audits of update services and development of quality controls
• Monitoring of update services and municipal services called upon to delimit territories in constant movement, including long-term monitoring
• Participation in the introduction of the new geodata model for official surveying (DMAV)
• Advice for municipalities during adjudication procedures
• Maintenance and development of the planimetric and altimetric reference frames of the canton of Berne

Your profile

• Training as an engineer in geomatics EPF/HES or equivalent training
• Several years of experience in the fields of official surveying as well as GIS and geoinformatics
• Interest in legal and administrative issues in relation to official surveying as well as in new technologies and the development of geomatics
• Excellent knowledge of German (C2), ability to negotiate in French (B1)
