What you can contribute

• As head of finance, take charge of the development of financial policy and provide support, from planning to advisory, for financial matters, including those relating to acquisitions
• Develop and maintain process management at the command level of the Locarno Air Base and ensure quality management (QSM)
• As head of Health Affairs, be responsible for the occupational health service and ensure staff training at the Locarno Air Base
• Assume responsibility for psychological aid and support services (Care)

What makes you unique

• Higher vocational training or commercial training with experience in the field of business management
• In-depth knowledge of financial processes and financial and corporate accounting within the federal administration (SAP S/4 HANA)
• IAS training, level 1, ideally at the highest level
• Basic knowledge of psychology desired
• Good active knowledge of at least a second official language, and ideally, passive knowledge of a third
• Ideally, experience as a militia manager

The Operations Command (cdmt Op) is responsible for all operations and all military engagements of the Swiss Army. The cdmt Op includes notably the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Center, the Special Forces Command as well as the Military Police. About 40 % of the approximately 2500 employees are employed in civilian roles, from engineers to analysts to aircraft mechanics.

The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
