Then this advertisement will interest you: These are your tasks * Participate in the care of the paleontological collection with a focus on invertebrate fossils of the Mesozoic * Assist in the electronic recording of the paleontological collection material as well as the optimization of digital collection access (GBIF, GeoCase) * Take over geoscientific preparation work if required * Support public relations (tours, identification of fossils, events such as Museum Night) and represent the Natural History Museum externally in project work with externals * Carry out scientific investigations on collection material in cooperation with the responsible curator What distinguishes you * Completed Master's degree in Earth Sciences with a focus on invertebrate paleontology of the Mesozoic * Initial professional experience in a comparable field (collection, database) * Good knowledge of Jurassic stratigraphy (Switzerland and Europe) * Interest in geoscientific preparation as well as in photography and image processing of paleontological objects * Careful, structured and reliable way of working as well as a responsible handling of the collection material * Very good German or French skills combined with the ability to communicate in the respective other language.
