Assembly and Test Technician About the position As an Assembly and Test Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of prototypes as well as small production series of our UAV systems. Working in close collaboration with the Hardware and Software teams, you will ensure that each product is assembled, wired, and tested according to the highest quality standards before its validation and deployment. This position combines mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, soldering, and functional testing activities. You will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining assembly and test documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOM), work instructions, and test procedures, in order to guarantee efficient, reproducible, and high-quality production. Furthermore, you will contribute to the organization of the laboratory by ensuring the management of components, tools, and stocks, to guarantee the availability of material and the maintenance of a structured and high-performing work environment. Your work will play a key role in the development of prototypes as well as in small series production activities. Your missions Collaborate with the Hardware and Software teams to continuously improve the performance and reliability of the systems. Participate in the initial testing phases in collaboration with Hardware and Software engineers to ensure the proper functioning of components and systems from their integration. Contribute to the integration and full testing of systems, ensuring the consistent implementation of mechanical, electronic, and software elements. Perform wiring operations, ensuring reliable, clean connections in compliance with best practices. Carry out mechanical assembly, drilling, wiring, as well as functional testing of prototypes and equipment. Ensure stock and inventory management for the R&D team to guarantee the availability of components and consumables. Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM), assembly procedures, and test procedures. Your profile You enjoy working with electronics and practical technical activities. You are comfortable with assembly, wiring, soldering, and testing of electronic systems, and enjoy solving concrete problems. Rigorous and meticulous, you attach great importance to the quality and reliability of your work. You enjoy laboratory work and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop, test, and improve new products. You are proficient in using common laboratory equipment to diagnose, validate, and troubleshoot electronic systems. Organized, you understand the importance of accurate documentation, good component management, and the maintenance of a clean and efficient work environment. Desired profile CFC in electronics, automation, electrical installation, or equivalent technical training offering a solid mastery of electronic systems. Experience or ease in mechanical work, notably drilling, assembly, and electrical wiring. Mastery of soldering and electronic assembly techniques. Good proficiency with laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes and signal generators to analyze, validate, and diagnose electronic systems. Minimum B2 (CEFR) level of English, both written and oral, allowing for effective collaboration within an international team.
