Integration Engineer and Tester (m/f/d)

• Development of a deep, technical understanding of our supervisory control systems
• Execution of integration tasks to ensure full communication between plant controls (third-party suppliers) and our control systems:
• Receipt of data point information from third-party suppliers for further processing by us
• Creation and supplementation of our MMI
• Creation of meaningful information aggregations/summaries
• Creation of "if-then links" for event cases
• Taking responsibility for full-scale testing:
• Independent execution of in-house tests including logging
• Independent preparation of test appointments with third-party suppliers and customers
• Independent scheduling and execution of appointments with internal and external stakeholders
• Preparation of high-quality, traceable protocols
• Coordination with the development department regarding necessary adjustments to the software to be tested based on the test results. Recording technical problems in ticket systems
• Ensuring that necessary adjustments are available on schedule
• Execution of commissioning tests (remote and on-site, night shifts are also possible)
• Creation, maintenance, and care of automated test cases and metrics to measure success
• Continuous improvement of tools and process documents
• Professional experience in the IT industry
• Experience in testing complex systems
• Understanding of technical connections to derive test cases from them
• Experience in test automation (TestCafe, Cypress, Selenium, Playwright etc.)
• ISTQB certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Very good knowledge of German and English (nice-to-have: French)
• Independent, precise way of working, endurance, and perseverance
• Good appearance towards customers and suppliers
• High motivation to explore systems and find errors
• You have the ability to formulate problems precisely and traceably
• You have high perseverance and keep a cool head even in more stressful situations with high quality standards

• Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL) is advantageous
