The Département de la femme, de l'enfant et de l'adolescent has the mission of offering quality care adapted to the needs of women at each stage of their lives and to the health problems faced by newborns, children, and adolescent girls and boys from birth until the age of 16. It works towards the development of cutting-edge services and specialized competence centers. The Service de psychiatrie de l'enfant et de l'adolescent (SPEA) handles the inpatient or outpatient care of children and adolescent girls and boys suffering from mental disorders. The teams work in multidisciplinary collaboration in a university environment offering numerous possibilities for undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education. The service occupies the new premises of the Maison de l'enfance et de l'adolescence (MEA) which brings together all the service units in a particularly warm setting, specifically designed to improve the quality of care for the most fragile young patients. Psychologist at the Inpatient Unit of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service - 60% You are currently undergoing psychotherapy training or you are about to start your psychotherapy training and you wish to gain experience in clinical intra-hospital work within the Inpatient Unit of the child and adolescent psychiatry service (SPEA). In the intra-hospital setting, you will ensure follow-ups for families of hospitalized children and adolescents, participate in the development of care projects, team meetings, and interdisciplinary syntheses, in close collaboration with clinicians, resident doctors, and the nursing team. Qualifications You possess a MAS in psychotherapy or neuropsychology (or have been in the MAS training process for at least one year) or a title deemed equivalent. You have experience working with children, adolescent girls and boys, and their families. You appreciate and are comfortable with interdisciplinary and interprofessional work. You possess knowledge of specific tools for the care of children, adolescent girls and boys. You have knowledge of the child psychiatric care network, as well as the Geneva social and educational network.
