What you can contribute

• Take charge of all tasks related to the fulfillment of instruction and service obligations and the management of assigned troops, such as the management of service days, summons, transfers, and promotions
• Responsible for the personnel management of assigned formations: ensures that commanders and personnel managers receive the corresponding information and orders, that personnel are balanced within their own formations and, if necessary, decrees transfers autonomously
• Conduct inquiries with applicants, employers, and authorities and make decisions on requests for service transfers and changes of incorporation and launch searches concerning military personnel who have not entered service
• Manage affairs using the Personnel Information System for the Army and Civil Protection (PISA), monitor deadlines, send summons for various services and ensure their follow-up and management of the personnel of assigned troops
• Guarantee the validity of service day announcements before their entry into PISA and ensure the correct application of the prescriptions relating to the imputation of these days
• Representation of SP trp control maintenance in working groups and projects

• Higher vocational training or commercial training with experience in the proposed function, preferably in a public administration
• Ideally, military knowledge
• Negotiation skills and a customer-needs oriented attitude
• Autonomy, reliability, initiative, consistency, sense of responsibility, team spirit
• Oral and written knowledge of a second official language

The Instruction Command (cdmt Instr) is responsible for instruction within the Swiss Army -- from recruitment to training of cadre for the militia and career soldiers, including general basic instruction. The cdmt Instr includes the Higher Cadre Training, Army Personnel, five application formations, the Army Instruction Center as well as the specialized service Women in the Army and diversity. One third of the approximately 2350 employees exercise civilian professions in the scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative or sporting fields and contribute, with career soldiers, to the success of the army.

The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, and this across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
