HEAD OF ROAD VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SECTION
Les Transports Publics du Chablais (TPC) in Aigle employ more than
400 collaborators and manage four regional railway lines, as well as a bus network extending over many Vaud and Valais municipalities.
As part of the growth of our company as well as the development of our transport offer, a new organization of our Fleet unit is going to be implemented in order to better respond to the evolving maintenance needs of our rail and road rolling stock.
In this context, we are looking for a:
HEAD OF ROAD VEHICLE MAINTENANCE SECTION (80-100 %)
YOUR MISSION
You lead your section and, in this capacity, you ensure the management of personnel (approx. 10 people) and are responsible for the maintenance activities of our road vehicles. You ensure the reliability of road vehicles both in terms of safety and quality, notably based on regulations (OFT, SAN, manufacturer instructions) and industry and company prescriptions. You supervise and coordinate the execution of activities also in terms of compliance with deadlines and costs. Furthermore, you optimize maintenance activities in order to contribute to high vehicle availability. You define and ensure the maintenance objectives of your section in connection with the rolling stock strategy and the objectives of the Fleet unit. In addition, you organize and manage the activity of your section by demonstrating proactivity as well as flexibility during urgent interventions. You identify and apply continuous improvement opportunities. Finally, you create the necessary synergies with other entities of the company, in order to guarantee good coordination and communication.
YOUR PROFILE
Benefiting from a CFC as a heavy goods vehicle mechanic or a title deemed equivalent, you have completed your professional training with higher studies (federal certificate or ES diploma) in the field of maintenance, automotive, or heavy goods vehicles. Furthermore, you hold driving licenses categories B and C. You also possess confirmed experience in team management in the field of public transport, heavy vehicles, or industrial sectors. You know how to define priorities and respect deadlines while demonstrating a global vision, proactivity, as well as rigor in the fulfillment of your missions. You have the capacity to anticipate problems and to implement adequate solutions, sometimes within restricted deadlines. Your listening/communication capacity constitutes one of your strengths and allows you to unite and develop your collaborators.
