Hotel Receptionist (m/f/d) on an annual contract

To complement our well-coordinated reception team, we are looking for charming reinforcement starting from January 2027 or by arrangement:

Your tasks:

• comprehensive and personal care of our guests with recommendations and information regarding our service as well as Grindelwald and the region
• charming check-in/check-out, payment processing, invoice creation
• acceptance and processing of reservations with the associated correspondence via e-mail, telephone and at the reception
• design and translation of restaurant menus for half board, groups or individual guests in German, English and French
• data maintenance of online booking platforms
• various office tasks
• shifts in both early, middle and late service

We maintain a very personal and family-like guest contact throughout the entire house; our entire team is known for its friendliness and attentiveness. We therefore desire a host personality with the following profile:

• Very good oral and written German and English skills (at least level B1), any further foreign language, especially French, is of course an advantage.
• a completed hotel specialist or commercial apprenticeship or at least 1 year of professional experience in a similar position
• high sense of responsibility, good manners and enjoyment in guest contact
• resilience, independence and reliability as well as a flair for organized and precise working
• enjoyment of working in a team with the desire to contribute and implement own ideas
• computer skills in common Microsoft programs, knowledge of the hotel software ASA and Vertical Booking is an advantage
