Institut Montana is a fully recognized Swiss-international day and boarding school in the heart of Switzerland. Founded in 1926, our school is dedicated to academic excellence and creates ideal conditions for approximately 380 students from over 50 nations to grow into healthy, ethically-thinking individuals. Montana offers a variety of academic programs that combine the best of Swiss and internationally recognized curricula for grades 1 to 12. These include the Bilingual Primary School (DE/EN), the Bilingual Secondary School (Sek I), the Swiss Gymnasium (monolingual/bilingual), as well as the International School, which offers CLSP, IGCSE, HSD, and IB DP.
For our back-of-house school operations, we are looking for, starting in November or by arrangement

Service Staff 80-100%
Your tasks:
Working in a team for smooth service operations during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, as well as cocoa and tea breaks
General mise-en-place and cleaning work in the entire work area
Regular weekend and evening shifts as well as during various school events
Caring interaction and exchange with students, including advising at the buffet
Maintaining guest rooms and preparing them according to offers and events
Professional use, cleaning, and care of the equipment and materials used (duty of care)
Economical and cost-conscious use of equipment and materials
Support with stock control (inventory) and independent replenishment according to the stock list
Working according to hygiene regulations (HACCP) including maintaining the provided control lists
Proper operation of the dishwasher including final cleaning
Reporting damage and defects
Following the rules according to school and personnel regulations

Your profile:
Experience in the service sector required, ideally in a school, community home, or hotel
Physically demanding work is nothing new to you
You are mobile, reliable, and flexible
You want to work in a team
Good manners are a matter of course for you
Enjoyment in interacting with children and adolescents of various ages and cultures
Good German language skills are mandatory, English is an advantage
Valid driver's license B and work permit for Switzerland
