Exciting tasks await:

• You lead the wage policy specialist department and are the central specialist and contact person for the cantonal remuneration system including its legal and systematic foundations, including advice and training for HR specialists.
• You conduct the annual wage round for the cantonal staff, from planning through communication and implementation in SuccessFactors Compensation to reporting.
• You organize and are responsible for the Persuisse wage comparison, the wage equality analysis LOGIB, as well as other Compensation & Benefits analyses and wage benchmarks.
• You participate in the project "Revision of the wage system for cantonal staff", develop specialist inputs and foundations, and assume co-responsibility for sub-projects.
• You answer parliamentary motions, business matters, and inquiries regarding the specialist department and further develop instruments, foundations, processes, and systems of wage policy in line with the HR strategy.

What you bring:

• Bachelor with MAS or Master with CAS in Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, or a related field (Business Administration, Psychology, or other Social Sciences with a focus on Human Resources)
• Several years of professional experience in the C&B or Total Rewards area as well as experience with SuccessFactors Compensation
• High degree of independence and personal responsibility as well as the motivation to take on and drive topics forward
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of thinking and working, paired with enjoyment of conceptual work and numbers
• A secure sense for the political environment of public administration as well as the ability to prepare complex topics in an understandable and target-group-oriented manner

Your working environment

The Departement Finanzen und Ressourcen (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dfr) with around 650 employees is responsible, as a cross-sectional department, for ensuring that the resources necessary for the fulfillment of tasks are available to the canton.

The Abteilung Human Resources Aargau (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dfr/ueber-uns/organisation/hr-aargau) develops foundations for the realization of a contemporary and socially responsible HR and wage policy for the employer Kanton Aargau. The focus is on designing a modern working world as well as the further development of management instruments to support operational HR work in the departments, the Staatskanzlei, and the courts of Kanton Aargau.
