Tasks/Responsibilities

What to expect:

• Work at the respective workstation according to work instructions
• Cleaning and maintenance work
• Crane operation (cabin and ground control) according to current safety standards
• Sampling of liquid steel, performing preparation and automatic testing
• Operating vehicles (slag transporter, forklift) after training
• Temperature measurement of liquid steel and, if necessary, Celox measurement
• Control and reordering of operating materials
• Readiness to work in other production areas of the steelworks

Competencies

What you bring:

• Completed school certificate and initial professional experience in a metal-processing company, preferably as a machine operator, operations or production employee
• Interest in metal and industrial processes
• German language skills oral and written at least level B1
• Independent and reliable way of working
• Physical resilience (noise, dust, heat)
• Forklift, crane and oxy-fuel cutting course is an advantage
• Readiness for shift work and weekend work
