• Leading the accreditation process of conformity assessment bodies and creating the necessary documents
• Organization and leadership of the corresponding technical teams with SAS-external technical experts
• Active participation in the further development and optimization of fundamentals and processes as well as, if necessary, leading projects
• Development and implementation of training courses for internal employees and SAS-external technical experts
• Representation of SAS in national and international committees

What makes you unique

• University degree in the natural sciences, biology, chemistry or medicine
• Several years of professional experience in one of the following subject areas: chemistry, biology, medical examinations or food examinations
• Several years of experience in lateral leadership as well as in quality management and in conformity assessment
• High degree of social, analytical and conceptual competence as well as an independent and self-organized way of working
• Quick comprehension, sense for the essentials, editorial proficiency and composure even under time pressure
• Very good active knowledge of two official languages and good English skills

The Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS) is the national accreditation authority of Switzerland. Whether it is testing, inspections, suitability tests or the production of reference material -- when it comes to whether services or products comply with certain standards and legal requirements, SAS looks closely. In doing so, we create trust in the services of others and contribute to making the everyday lives of many people safer and reducing technical barriers to trade.
The Chemistry, Biology and Health division (ASCB) with its 12 highly qualified employees is primarily responsible within SAS for the technically competent accreditation and supervision of conformity assessment bodies in the areas of medicine, veterinary medicine, food, forensics and chemistry -- always with the goal that SAS can fulfill its core tasks in the best possible way.
