Who we are:
We are a foundation with a cantonal mandate and special education services for children and adolescents with a severe disorder of speech and language and/or pronounced social-emotional impairments.

How we work:

Your impact:

• New premises, new possibilities: Together with your Co-Management, you take over the operational management of the expanded site in Turgi with around 120 students – and shape a school that combines joy of design, stability, and reliability.
• Team building & Leadership: You lead and develop a newly assembled, interdisciplinary team of around 55 employees from the fields of pedagogy, therapy, and other specialist areas and shape a culture of professionalism, trust, and appreciation.
• Shaping quality: You further develop teaching, therapy, and care with a view to holistic, individual promotion. In doing so, you ensure high pedagogical quality and, together with the interdisciplinary team, create optimal development and learning opportunities for every child.
• Setting impulses for the future: Together with the management team, you recognize development potential, participate in forward-looking concepts, and, as part of the management team, actively help shape the future of Zentrum ASS.

What you bring:

• Several years of leadership experience in a school environment, ideally in a school management function and in a special education context, combined with experience in school and quality development.
• Strong leadership competence: You lead clearly, appreciatively, and bindingly, communicate empathically, and strengthen trust, individual responsibility, and development.
• Sovereignty in demanding situations: You act calmly, solution-oriented, and bindingly in personnel matters, conflicts, and difficult decisions.
• Innovative and resilient personality with organizational talent, joy of design, and strategic foresight. You set priorities, take responsibility, and shape changes proactively and actively.
• Resource-oriented and interdisciplinary attitude: You are open to future-oriented pedagogical and therapeutic perspectives and promote constructive, cross-disciplinary cooperation.
• Joy in working with children and adolescents as well as genuine interest in their individual needs and small as well as large developmental steps.
• Completed school management training or the willingness to complete this promptly.
