The Office of Information Technology of the Canton of Appenzell I.Rh. operates as a service provider for the entire cantonal administration and other public institutions.

The Office of Information Technology is looking for an IT Supporter starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, for an 80-100% workload.

Your Tasks

• First level support
• Software distribution, client management
• Operation of the MDM platform for schools
• Troubleshooting, monitoring, reporting
• Installation and configuration of PCs and notebooks
• Coordinating repairs with our hardware suppliers
• Analysis of the need for hardware and software procurement
• Support of specialised applications and participation in projects
• Support and operation of DECT telephone systems
• Support for managed print services
• Creating documentation

Your Profile

• Completed IT training (EFZ) or committed and skilled self-taught technician
• Experience in system technology and PC support
• Confident handling of customers
• Independent, solution-oriented and reliable working style
• Team player
• Willingness for continuous further training
• Driving licence category B
