For the position of Claims Handler (m/f/d) Property, Accident & Health, we are looking for a new colleague (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date to strengthen our team in Glattbrugg (Zürich) for a workload of 80 % to 100 %.

What awaits you with us:

• Independent processing of claim cases in the area of Accident & Health (business travel insurance, accident insurance, etc.) as well as Property within the assigned authorities, also with international reference
• Coverage review, analysis of insurance scope and conditions, as well as verification of entitlement to benefits
• Independent and proactive investigation of facts for the assessment of the claim case through active contact with the insured and policyholders, brokers and other stakeholders, as well as commissioning loss adjusters, evaluation of medical findings/medical reports, loss reports, investigation documents and invoices
• Recognition of fraud indicators as well as, if necessary, forwarding to the appropriate departments
• Identification of recourse possibilities and support in enforcing recourse claims
• Maintenance of claim dossiers and documentation in the internal systems
• Close cooperation with underwriting and (joint) attendance of appointments with customers and brokers

To round off the picture described above, you bring the following:

• Completed studies in the field of law, business administration or federal diploma of insurance specialist, or a comparable education, e.g., as Kaufmann/-frau (KV) EFZ Privatversicherung
• Advantageous, but not a mandatory requirement, is initial professional experience in claims processing, ideally in the area of A&H or Property
• Confident handling of insurance conditions
• Attention to detail as well as structured, proactive and team-oriented way of working and confident manner of expression
• Enjoyment of exchange and negotiations with international brokers and customers as well as customer-oriented thinking and acting
• Confident handling of common IT systems and MS Office
• Very good German and English skills, good French and/or Italian skills are an advantage
