Commissioning Technician for Electric Buses (m/f/d | 80 - 100%)

Your tasks:

• Commissioning of traction systems on electric buses, including high-voltage batteries, charging systems, and communication systems
• Uploading, checking, and parameterizing the HESS vehicle software on the control units
• Creating error diagnoses and performing remedial measures in coordination with the respective specialist departments
• Quality and functional control of the E/E system and its functionality in our electric buses
• Documentation and release of the completed commissioning
• Collaboration on new developments for the electromobility of tomorrow, their test methods, and suitable process steps

Our requirements:

• Completed vocational training as an automotive mechatronics technician, automation technician, or comparable qualification with E/E knowledge
• Ideally further training in the field of mechatronics or vehicle technology
• Enjoyment of diagnostic work with high quality awareness
• Ideally knowledge of high-voltage systems (Automotive) and/or traction systems (Railway) and their protection systems (e.g., insulation monitoring, emergency stop circuits)
• Basic knowledge of the programming systems CODESYS, Matlab, and Simulink (knowledge in communication systems such as CAN-Bus J1939 desirable)
• Interest in learning new things

Collaborative and solution-oriented hands-on mentality

• Written and oral communication skills in German and English (French skills are an advantage)
• Good PC skills in Microsoft Office
