Social Worker 60 % ## to complement the team

Your main tasks ###

• Independent management of social assistance cases
• Conducting initial interviews as well as clarifying support needs and responsibility
• Examination of personal and economic circumstances as well as calculation and provision of economic assistance
• Promotion of social and professional integration as well as economic independence
• Coordination of support services and cooperation with authorities, social insurance providers and specialist agencies
• Drafting of decrees, reports and statements as well as preparation of matters for the social authority
• Participation in the further development of processes, digitalization and internal work aids
• Counter and telephone service, deputy within the Social Department

Your profile ###

• Completed vocational training/further education in the social field (FH/HF)
• Professional experience in statutory social assistance and/or in case management
• Experience in conducting interviews, needs assessment and social counseling
• Resilience, flexibility and high self-organization
• High social competence, empathy and assertiveness
• Professional handling of people in difficult and stressful life situations
• Ability to work in a team and enjoyment of contact with the population, authorities and specialist agencies
• Discretion in handling confidential information
• Confident communication in spoken and written language
• Good IT user skills and confident handling of case documentation
• Foreign language skills are an advantage
