Front Office Energy Trading Manager (m/f/d)

As a member of the management team for energy economy, you are responsible, together with your team, for the overall performance derived from trading and optimized production and consumption portfolios on the short and long-term markets. * Continuously develop energy trading by leveraging opportunities offered by evolving markets, increasing digitalization, and new regulatory frameworks. * Deepen and expand the use of analytical and quantitative models and methods, ensuring reliable forecasts of production and load and transparent control of results. * Contribute to the definition of strategic partnerships and collaborations with industrial partners to optimize our portfolio. * Manage your team in a collegiate, clear, and results-oriented manner, and promote targeted competencies necessary for future energy trading. * Bring with you: * Strong trust and team spirit are pillars of your way of working; consider cross-collaboration with people with diverse skills precious. * You are strongly results-oriented, motivate yourself and your colleagues towards new ones, and willingly commit to discussing existing processes and engaging in interdisciplinary areas. * Several years of experience in managing hydroelectric portfolios in Switzerland; operate with experience in energy markets (forward, spot, intraday, system services) on a national and neighboring country level, and are familiar with the basics of risk management. * University degree or third title with at least a complementary education in business economics and at least five years of professional experience in the energy sector; ideally, you have already gained experience in managing personnel. * Strong IT affinity and pronounced analytical skills; can demonstrate concrete results in the employment of quantitative methods, in digitalization, and in the development of tools. * Good knowledge of German and good knowledge of French (or vice versa - at least B2); we also require a good knowledge of English (at least B1).
