On behalf of one of our partners located in the Bienne region, we are currently looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Foreman to strengthen their teams and ensure the management and monitoring of various construction sites.

Job Description

-Supervise and manage teams present on construction sites
-Organize and plan the various stages of the work
-Distribute tasks among employees and coordinate interventions
-Ensure daily monitoring of work progress
-Guarantee compliance with deadlines, plans, and quality requirements
-Ensure strict compliance with safety rules and instructions
-Organize personnel, material, and machine needs
-Manage stocks and anticipate needs for materials and supplies
-Ensure coordination with site management, technicians, suppliers, and various partners
-Control the proper execution of civil engineering works
-Write and ensure the follow-up of daily site reports
-Identify potential problems on the ground and quickly implement suitable solutions

Profile Sought

-Training in the field of construction or civil engineering
-Confirmed experience of minimum 4 to 5 years as a civil engineering foreman in Switzerland
-Excellent knowledge of civil engineering works and the various stages of a construction site
-Confirmed experience in leading and managing teams
-Ability to organize and plan work effectively
-Good mastery of reading plans
-Autonomous, responsible person capable of making decisions
-Excellent sense of organization and priorities
-Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders
-Reliable, rigorous, and solution-oriented
-Driving license indispensable
-Good mastery of French; knowledge of German constitutes a real advantage for the Bienne region
