Head of Applications & Support IoT (all)

Your tasks

• You provide technical and personnel leadership to the Applications & Support team with up to five employees, set clear priorities, and strengthen independent action.
• You organize and coordinate support, operation, and application topics and ensure a stable, customer-oriented operation of the IoT solutions.
• You work around 30 percent operatively in 1st and 2nd level support and coordinate the organizational measures for 3rd level support.
• You control and report service quality based on support volume, response and solution times, and ensure traceable escalations.
• You simplify and professionalize support and operation processes, guidelines, documentation, and the knowledge base, and promote know-how transfer within the team.
• You review and further develop the IoT portfolio and the IT architecture in an economical and future-oriented manner (business cases), lead IoT projects, and build bridges between internal and external stakeholders.

Your expertise

• You have at least three years of experience in the technical and personnel leadership of a team of comparable size.
• You know the IoT landscape from practice - from development and further development to stable operation.
• You have a basic technical training with EFZ, for example in informatics, automation, or electronics, or a commercial basic training with targeted further development in the IoT or application support environment. A successfully completed tertiary further education in informatics, systems engineering, or automation (HF) is an advantage.
• You communicate with negotiation certainty in German and can communicate in French as well as English (Level B1).
• You work in a structured, reflective, and solution-oriented manner and tackle operative topics with high practical relevance yourself.
• You understand service-oriented business models, connect different stakeholder groups, and are willing to travel up to 10 percent within Switzerland.
