Your tasks

• As part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, you care for patients in an outpatient setting and contribute your professional expertise to the joint treatment.
• After a thorough introduction, you will undertake psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments as well as treatments under senior physician supervision and continuously develop your professional skills.
• You will actively participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and also have the opportunity to participate in specific group offerings.
• Individual therapy planning is as much in your area of responsibility as the associated documentation and reporting, whereby you also prepare medical reports and expert opinions.
• In exchange with referring agencies, relatives, and authorities, you work together reliably and, together with an appreciative team, shape the interdisciplinary cooperation in everyday life.
• With your commitment and professional expertise, you contribute to actively shaping the future of Psychiatrie St. Gallen.

Your profile

• With a successfully completed medical degree in Switzerland, the EU, or EFTA and, in the case of a foreign degree, existing MEBEKO recognition, you bring the required professional foundation.
• You have already gained initial experience in inpatient psychiatry and want to specifically deepen your know-how while you are in training to become a specialist physician.
• Working with mentally ill people inspires you, and particularly the professional exchange and cooperation in a multiprofessional team appeal to you.
• Even in dynamic situations, you maintain calm, think solution-oriented, and act flexibly, using your communication strength in contact with patients, the team, and external partners.
• Commitment, creativity, and high self-motivation characterize you and are supplemented by very good German skills at at least C1 level.
