Your responsibility

• As the person responsible for communication regarding digital transformation, you are in charge of internal and external communication surrounding the digital transformation of the administration. You prepare complex topics in an understandable way and convey them in a target-group-oriented manner to employees, executives, and the public.
• You are responsible for the coordination and further development of the digital communication channels of the Canton as well as the monitoring of social media channels.
• You participate in the development of an AI web assistant for the Canton's website and manage its content during operation as a RAG Content Manager. You are also responsible for monitoring user interactions.
• You advise the project leaders of digitalization projects of the Canton on communication issues, report regularly on the status of the various projects, and provide appropriate communication tools.

Your background

• For these tasks, you bring a communication education at Master's level or another subject-specific education.
• Ideally, you bring experience in the field of content optimization for AI applications (e.g., RAG systems, chatbots) and know how texts must be formulated and structured so that they can be used reliably by AI tools.
• For reporting on the digital projects of the Canton, you have an eloquent, stylish writing style in German, adapted to the requirements of online media and UX writing.
• You are a personality who actively tackles tasks and enjoys working both independently and in a team.
• You enjoy coordinating many stakeholders and inspiring enthusiasm for digital communication channels.

Landeskanzlei

The Landeskanzlei is one of the Special Authorities of the Canton Basel-Landschaft. It is the staff office of the Landrat and Regierungsrat and is led by the Landschreiberin. Together with its approximately 45 employees, it supports parliament, commissions, and the government in their work, particularly in the organization as well as the preparation and follow-up of meetings. It plans and organizes the cantonal elections and votes and maintains the chronological and systematic collection of laws. In addition, it is responsible for the website and the online service portal of the Canton Basel-Landschaft.
