Description ###

For our renowned business partner, an internationally active specialist in high-tech and plant engineering in the Wohlen (AG) region, we are looking for an experienced Logistics Specialist / Export Packer for a Try & Hire (with option for permanent employment) starting immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks & Responsibilities ###

• Safe loading and unloading of trucks and sea freight containers using industrial trucks/forklifts in the freight forwarding department
• Receipt of goods deliveries including incoming goods inspection and recording in the ERP system
• Organization of special transports: measuring large systems, ordering custom-fit wooden packaging, and creating packing and loading lists
• Professional preparation and provision of materials for production orders
• Preparing, preserving, and sea-worthy packaging of shipments for worldwide shipping
• Active support during inventory within the framework of rolling stock control

Must-Haves ###

• Completed training as a Logistics Specialist
• Verifiable practical knowledge in export packaging, sea-worthy cargo securing, and warehouse logistics
• Valid SUVA-recognized forklift license with solid driving experience
• Profound experience in hall crane operation and moving heavy loads (up to 8 tons)
• Experience in professional container and truck loading
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Reliable, structured way of working and strong team spirit

Nice-to-Haves ###

• Confident handling of warehouse systems (preferably SAP)
• Training or certificates in the field of hazardous goods (ADR/IATA/IMDG)
• Good English skills for international shipping documents
