Safety Coordinator in Electrical Engineering

The position coordinates safety topics at the interface to Electrical Engineering in railway vehicle construction and advises internal departments on safety-relevant issues.

Tasks

• Interface and coordination between Electrical Engineering and Safety
• Advising and training employees in project management, sales and other areas
• Support in the creation of safety proofs
• Recommendations for the efficient design of safety-relevant controls
• Advice on the design of technical protective measures and implementation of FMEA
• Support in the assessment of planned changes
• Conducting discussions with relevant actors and supervisory authorities

Profile

• Completed studies in electrical engineering (ETH, TU, FH) or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in railway vehicle construction is an advantage, not mandatory
• Interest in safety topics and enjoyment of railway vehicles
• Very good German skills, English and other languages are an advantage
• Open-minded, communicative and solution-oriented personality
• Thorough and systematic way of working with structured thinking
