LERNBAHN is a brand of the Schaffhauser Sonderschulen and accompanies children and young people with various impairments - integratively in regular schools as well as at four of its own locations in the Canton of Schaffhausen. Around 600 employees are committed daily to ensuring that children and young people receive the best possible development and educational opportunities.

Head of Central Services, Member of the Executive Board ##

In this key role, together with your division and specialist managers, you will lead an integrated service area that supports the pedagogical areas and the interdisciplinary specialist services: Human Resources, Finance & Controlling, Administration, ICT, Gastronomy, as well as Real Estate, Buildings, Technology, and Cleaning. As a member of the Executive Board, you will actively contribute the operational perspective to the further development of the overall organization.

Your contribution

Your daily routine includes:

• You lead and develop the division and specialist managers of the Central Services - personally, professionally, and with clear interfaces to pedagogy, specialist services, and the staff office.
• You ensure effective, economical, and legally compliant service delivery with practical planning and control instruments.
• You are responsible for budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and annual financial statements and prepare decision-making bases for the Executive Board.
• You ensure professional HR and administrative processes as well as demand-oriented ICT, gastronomy, and infrastructure services.
• You build up the institution-wide quality management system (QMS) and continuously develop it further.
• As a member of the Executive Board, you contribute the operational perspective and implement organization-wide decisions in your area.

What you bring with you

• A higher education (FH, HF, or university) in Business Administration, Public Management, or Administration - ideally with a specialization in Finance or Human Resources -, supplemented by leadership training or proven leadership competence.
• Several years of leadership experience in a complex service or administrative environment, ideally leading several specialist departments and leaders.
• A sound understanding of finance, personnel, administration, ICT, and infrastructure, as well as experience in organizational development, process design, and change management.
• Experience in the context of cantonal public personnel law is an advantage.
• An integral, structured, and binding personality with a strong service, communication, and cooperation orientation. You think entrepreneurially and organization-wide, set priorities, and combine quality standards with economic efficiency and implementation strength - even in demanding situations, you remain solution-oriented and capable of action.
