Methods Technician / Production Workshop Manager (electronics)

Our client, a Swiss industrial SME specializing in the manufacture of cables and the assembly of devices for industry, is looking for a Production & Methods Manager Technician. As a true technical expert, you will work on the ground on a daily basis to support teams, resolve production issues, optimize manufacturing methods, and contribute sustainably to the evolution of the workshop.

Desired profile

• Technical training: automation technician, electronics technician, ES technician or equivalent training
• Proven experience in an industrial environment
• Experience in production organization and/or methods
• Field-oriented profile, comfortable with the concrete resolution of technical problems
• Ability to unite and support teams, with a good sense of organization
• Proficiency with IT tools and production management software
• Taste for designing concrete solutions: fixtures, tooling, and workstation improvement

Main responsibilities

• Support teams and provide daily technical support
• Plan, organize, and monitor production according to priorities
• Resolve issues related to machines, tooling, dies, and manufacturing processes
• Design, test, and implement fixtures and tooling to facilitate the work of the teams
• Create, update, and maintain work instructions
• Optimize flows, workstations, and manufacturing methods
• Analyze production times and identify areas for improvement
