Senior System Engineer 80-100%

Stable, secure, and efficiently operated IT platforms are the foundation for a high-performance system landscape. In this key role, you are responsible for the operation as well as the architecture and further development of our Identity, Workplace, On-Prem, and Cloud platforms. With a high degree of personal responsibility, you develop solutions that optimally support our employees and convince in terms of quality, security, and scalability. Your tasks • Leading the further development and operation of the IAM system (Ivanti Identity Director) including JML processes and identity workflows • Responsible for the further development, stable operation, and governance of the identity platform based on Active Directory and Entra ID • Active co-design and further development of the Microsoft-365, Windows, and Azure platforms (Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, Defender) • Definition and implementation of standards, guidelines, and security baselines across the entire Windows landscape - on-premises as in the cloud • Assumption of technical service responsibility for defined platforms and applications • Conception and implementation of automations for infrastructure and operating processes using PowerShell • Technical responsibility in IT and infrastructure projects (migrations, updates, rollouts); in close cooperation with other specialist departments • Active driving and further development of the patch and security strategy • Structured analysis and sustainable resolution of complex malfunctions in 3rd level • Participation in on-call service (24/7 availability) on a rotational basis with the team Your skills • Completed training or studies in the IT field or a comparable qualification • Several years of experience in the engineering and operation of complex Windows and Microsoft cloud platforms • Sound experience in Identity & Access Management as well as in the implementation of JML processes • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 • Very good PowerShell knowledge as well as experience or interest in automation • Sound understanding of modern security principles as well as practical experience in the definition and implementation of security baselines • Experience in IT and infrastructure projects, ideally with (partial) responsibility • Strong customer orientation with the aim of continuously improving IT services and aligning them with the business • High personal responsibility paired with a structured way of working • Active cooperation with various stakeholders and specialist departments as well as positioning yourself as a competent, visible technical contact person in the company • Very good German as well as good English skills Why Quickline?
