As an engineer, you commit yourself with us day after day to a secure energy supply for Flughafen Zürich. You bear technical responsibility for our heat and cooling supply and ensure the quality of our current supply infrastructure. Together with our technical specialists, you develop innovative solutions for heat, cooling and decarbonization and contribute to making Flughafen Zürich climate neutral by 2040.

Your job destination

• You manage projects of our heat and cooling supply and ensure deadlines, costs and quality. In doing so, you act in the role of client representative
• You continuously develop our energy systems and networks together with operations and maintenance and support demanding technical questions
• You analyze malfunctions, identify optimization potential and implement improvement measures
• You carry out safety analyses and conformity processes for self-created or converted systems
• You provide technical support in the widespread rollout of the energy and decarbonization strategy in the field of heat and cooling

Your skills in your luggage

• You have a technical vocational apprenticeship and a university of applied sciences degree as an engineer in mechanical engineering, heating / air conditioning technology or similar
• You understand the energetic connections and the current challenges of energy supply and decarbonization
• You seek an optimum of supply security, ecology and economic efficiency. You find this in concepts, variants and as simple solutions as possible
• Advantageously, you bring initial practical experience in the field of district heating, district cooling, anergy, large-scale cooling plants, combined heat and power (BHKW) or MSRL knowledge
• Through your open-minded nature and close contact with our specialists, you advance the energy supply as a team
