To strengthen the team at the location in Zürich Wallisellen, we are looking for a committed and technically savvy personality as a Pre-Sales Engineer. In this role, you are a central interface between customers, sales, and technical teams.

Your Task ##

• Analysis of customer requirements and development of suitable ICT solutions
• Technical consulting for customers and support of sales in the pre-sales cycle
• Creation of technical offers and solution concepts
• Calculation of projects, services, and managed services
• Definition of scope of services, assumptions, and boundaries
• Ensuring the traceability and quality of offers
• Coordination with engineering, project management, and service management
• Involvement of manufacturers and partners if required
• Ensuring that solutions are technically feasible and deliverable
• Development of scalable and economical solution approaches
• Collaboration in the further development of the service and solution portfolio
• Feedback of market and customer requirements to internal stakeholders

Your Profile ##

• Completed education in the field of computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the IT environment, ideally in pre-sales, solution engineering, or system engineering
• Broad technical understanding (e.g., workplace, server/storage, network, security, cloud, or managed services)
• Ability to analyze customer requirements in a structured manner and translate them into solutions
• Experience in creating technical offers, service descriptions, and calculations
• Confident understanding of service catalogs, standard services, and operating models
• Ability to define realistic efforts, deadlines, and assumptions
• Strong communication skills towards customers, technology, and management
• Ability to critically question requirements and clearly reject non-implementable wishes
• Fluent German skills, English and French are an advantage
