Your leadership tasks include ###

• professional, personnel, administrative and organizational leadership of the team (11 persons)
• support of the department management Social Services in control and controlling tasks
• support of the department management Social Services in the implementation of legal, political, strategic and operative requirements
• organization of internships in Social Work

Your areas of action include in the focus of social assistance ###

• independent and comprehensive case management in economic and personal social assistance according to the Social Assistance Act as well as the Asylum Welfare Ordinance
• counseling and support of people in difficult life situations
• promotion and support of professional and social integration
• administrative activities
• participation in working groups (depending on need)

Your areas of action include in the focus of adult protection ###

• independent and comprehensive mandate management in the area of adult protection on behalf of KESB Horgen
• counseling and support of people in difficult life situations
• administrative activities
• participation in working groups (depending on need)

What you bring ###

• completed training as a social worker (FH/HF) or an equivalent training, e.g., in the areas of social insurance or law
• professional experience in adult protection and/or in social assistance
• leadership experience, management training or the willingness to develop further in this area
• analytical and networked thinking, combined with a structured, efficient and resilient way of working
• high social competence in dealing with different stakeholders: empathy, transparency and a strong solution orientation characterize you
• ability to work in a team and a positive basic attitude
• interest in political and social contexts
