Deployed across several sites, the Institution de Lavigny consists of a neurological hospital with outpatient consultations on two sites, a housing department for adults with disabilities, with an intellectual deficiency or a physical issue, a specialized school, and a workshops and vocational training sector.

The Département Plein Soleil of the Institution de Lavigny, located in Lausanne, is dedicated to people suffering from progressive neurological diseases or brain injuries, and includes a nursing home of 68 beds, a CAT of 10 places, 12 protected housings, and an outpatient therapy center.

It is a unique place of life and care in the Canton de Vaud, offering personalized support, with care services and therapies, educational and socio-cultural activities, personal development and well-being workshops, spiritual support, and a service dedicated to the relatives of the people welcomed.

For the care sector of the Plein Soleil department at the Lausanne site, we are looking for:

Nursing assistants in the field of neurology on permanent contract

Job description:

• Participate in hygiene, comfort, and rehabilitation care in collaboration with the socio-sanitary team
• Ensure, according to hospital hygiene directives and the residence work plan, order, cleanliness, disinfection, and maintenance of equipment and furniture
• Contribute to ensuring a warm environment, favorable to the well-being of the residents

We require:

• Nursing assistant training with CRS recognition, ASA-AFP care and support assistant diploma or CRS health auxiliary certificate recommended and/or training deemed equivalent
• A good capacity for adaptation and excellent communication skills
• Skills to work in interdisciplinarity
• Marked interest in neurology
• Sense of listening and interpersonal ease
• Dynamism and sense of responsibility

Continuous 12-hour day shifts
