REHAB Basel, Clinic for Neurorehabilitation and Paraplegiology, treats and rehabilitates patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and related clinical pictures following accidents or illnesses.
Our ultimate goal is to achieve the greatest possible independence and optimal quality of life together with the people entrusted to us. We treat successfully in the area of initial and follow-up rehabilitation.
The clinic has 110 beds and around 660 employees, who implement our vision and values of REHAB Basel in their daily work. You will work in a unique building in the attractive tripoint of Switzerland, Germany, and France.

As our long-standing Head of Nursing is retiring after 28 years, we are looking for an experienced, proactive, and committed Head of Nursing / Member of the Executive Management (80%–100%) as of 1 February 2027 or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
Leading the nursing service with the various wards as well as the staff positions of the nursing service
Close cooperation with the Chief Physician / Medical Management and Head of Therapies
Promoting process-oriented, constructive cooperation in REHAB Basel, especially at the interface of Medicine / Nursing / Therapies
Representing nursing externally
Participation in patient admission planning
Development and implementation of suitable leadership instruments (job descriptions, target agreement and appraisal systems)
Definition and controlling of the quality of services in the area of nursing and care
Adjustment of staff plans to the requirements of task fulfillment within the framework of the approved staff plan of the nursing service
Responsibility for personnel decisions (hirings, dismissals) in the nursing area
Your profile
Diploma in health and nursing care
Proof of leadership training as well as several years of leadership experience
Very good communication skills
Strong networked, as well as strategic and conceptual thinking
Structured way of working and great organizational skills
High leadership and social competence
Good German skills
